GOOD NEWS! Although the standard rate of income tax has reduced from 22% to 20% with effect from April 2008, the Chancellor announced in his March 2008 Budget  that the rate at which charities can reclaim tax under the Gift Aid scheme will remain at 22% for a three-year transitional period. Using Gift Aid, for every pound you give, we will still get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. This means that £100 can be turned into £128, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine the difference that could make, and it doesn't cost you a thing. So if you want your donation to go further, Gift Aid it. Just tell us that you want to use the Gift Aid scheme and make sure that you give us your name and address - we will do the rest! If you are paying by card or PayPal, please use the Gift Aid form on this site.

Since April 2004 Self Assessment Taxpayers have been able to use the tax return form to donate to charity all or part of any repayment due to them. The donation goes direct to the chosen charity’s bank account; the taxpayer can choose to Gift Aid the donation and any tax on Gift Aided donations is paid to the charity without the need for a claim. To help us in this way, all you have to do is ask the Inland Revenue to make the payment to us, quoting our reference code UAK82SG. It's as simple as that!
